跨界混搭！强生谷歌携手研发新型外科手术机器人

2015年4月2日讯/生物谷BIOON/--近日，强生旗下医疗器械公司与互联网技术巨头谷歌签订了合作协议，主要用于研发新一代手术机器人，这无论是对医生、病人还是医疗机构而言都是好消息。
制药巨头和互联网大佬之间的合作将会产生怎样的火花呢？两家公司在一份联合声明中表示，二者会联合各自的研发能力、知识产权和专业技术，创造一个全新的机器人协助式手术平台，将先进的技术与医疗充分整合。
这项合作由强生的创新团队促成，而其中财务上的细节并未披露。
机器人协助手术是一类微创手术，旨在运用机械帮助实现手术过程中的精准控制，可以最大限度地减少创伤，以及加速术后恢复。
目前两家公司正在为外科医生和手术室研发新型的机械工具和性能，希望能够融合一流的医疗器械技术和前沿的机器人、成像和数据分析系统。
强生的全球手术团队负责人GaryPruden表示，在过去的60年中，Ethicon都在致力于研发新产品和技术，与谷歌的合作是强生推进外科诊疗技术非常关键的一步。强生和谷歌都将致力于把科学、技术和外科学充分融合，打造一个世界一流的技术团队。整个合作交易将于今年第二季度完成。
谷歌涉足到生命医学领域已经不是新鲜事了。去年，一项名为“GoogleX”的谷歌生命科学计划拉开帷幕，主要项目是基因组数据和纳米诊断，由美国国家基因组学研究所的联合创始人AndrewConrad领导。
2013年，谷歌就曾组建了名为Calico的医疗事业部，由Genentech前董事长、首席执行官，苹果现任董事长ArthurLevinson领导。
